His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa will be on his first visit to the United States beginning May 15 to June 2, 2008.

Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey are exceptionally happy to host His Holiness' audience to the Tibetans living in the New York Metropolitan Area on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Hunter College Assembly Hall, 69th Street (between Park and Lexington Avenues), in Manhattan. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

Tickets for $30 will go on sale beginning May 3rd, 2008 at the Tibetan demonstration being held near the Chinese Consulate, on 42nd Street and 12th Avenue.

Tickets will continue to be sold at the demonstration venue(s).
